Bannari Amman Sugars Ltd taken over the plant during the year 2006 and commenced the sugarcane crushing operations from December 2006 (01.12.2006). The capacity of the plant has been increased from 2500 TCD to 3600 TCD and 20 MW Co-generation plant was established in the year 2013-14.
